About

Hi — I'm the finder.

I'm based in Rahway, New Jersey, and I travel as often as the calendar allows. Somewhere along the way, picking through markets, estate sales, and shops turned from a habit into the whole point of the trip — and the research behind each find turned out to be half the fun.

This site is where all of it lives: the vault is the catalog of things I've found and what I've been able to learn about them; field guides are the deep-dive references that come out of that research (starting with a full FN-49 study); and the hunt is an open offer — if you're looking for something, tell me, and I'll keep my eyes open on the road.

Nothing here is a store. A few vault pieces are open to a price request when it makes sense, and everything is handled personally — one email, one conversation. And to be clear where it matters: firearms in my collection are documented purely as history. I'm not a dealer, nothing on this site is a firearm sales offering, and any firearm transfer would go through a licensed dealer and every applicable law.

How This Site Works

The short version

Everything gets researched

Every vault entry comes with era, origin, and the story of the find. If I can't document a piece, it gets labeled as such — the research is the product.

Price requests, not a checkout

There's no cart and no checkout. If a piece is open to consideration, you request a price and a condition report, and we talk like humans.

Honest condition notes

Everything I offer is described as I found it — wear, repairs, and all. The condition report you get is the same one I'd write for myself.
